Summer Internship Programme

Students of 2009-13 batches have 6 to 8 weeks internship in their curriculum after third year exams. Students of 2010-14 batch and subsequent batches will have 'Project semester' of six months duration in sixth or seventh semester as laid down in the curriculum.

The Institute will arrange internships in various organizations. Students will be allotted internship in a company based on merit or any other criterion laid down by the company.

In some cases the students may be allowed to arrange internship. In that case a student can take a letter from the placement department and contact the company. The confirmation letter from the company has to be submitted in the placement department.

Students will maintain the record of the work done in the industry on a daily basis and submit a report in the institute within one week of the start of the next semester. The certificate and the report has to be duly signed by a responsible official of the company.

The institute will arrange evaluation of the internship within 15 days of the start of the semester. The date of evaluation will be notified at least one week before the date of evaluation.

In case of companies coming to the institute to select students for internship, all regulations of 'placements' will be applicable for such internships.

Placements policy for final placements (2012-2013)

	A student can apply to any number of companies i.e, IT / Core however after receiving first offer, He /she would be out of placement processes.
	Dream offer is defined as previous offer plus CTC Rs 1.5lacs in compensation. A student can avail only one dream offer.
	Eligibility for placement process will be based on attendance and performance of individual student at academic and placement module
	Any communication from companies & vice a versa to the student will be routed through the T & P Office.
	Student must ensure to inform T & P office about opting out of final placement process due to higher studies or Personal reasons.
