Overview

Established in the year 2009, the Department Of Civil Engineering proposes to establish centre of excellence in the fields of Civil Engineering. The Department offers B.Tech program in Civil Engineering and the intake capacity for B.Tech Program is 60 from academic year 2012.

The strength of this Department lies in the highly qualified, experienced & dedicated faculty as well as Laboratories with the latest equipments used for well acquaintance with latest technology. With a curriculum evaluated regularly by distinguished professors from IIT and industry experts, the Department emphasizes on interdisciplinary nature of the courses for understanding the various issues of Civil Engineering. This would alleviate students to face the real life challenges and enhance problem solving capabilities.

The Department aims at maintaining a high quality in Engineering Education and producing industry ready professionals in Civil Engineering. In near future department is planning to offer M.Tech Program in Geoinformatic & Surveying Technology*. The approval for the M.Tech Program is under process with AICTE.
