Important Dates

Counseling/Admission dates for admission through various entrance examinations

  • Extended date for Institute Registration SITEEE : August 11, 2019
  • Extended date for Registration JEE (Main) & MHT-CET : August 11, 2019
  • SITEEE (SC / ST / DA / KM) June 08, 2019 SITEEE (General) June 09, 2019
  • JEE (Main) & MHT-CET (SC / ST / DA / KM) June 15, 2019 JEE (Main) & MHT-CET (General) June 16, 2019
  • Last date of admission is July 7, 2019

Date of Commencement of session: July 08, 2019

All the above dates have been decided based on the expected dates of the respective entrance exams and declaration of their results. However, the counseling/admission dates are liable to change as a result of a change in the date of entrance exam and/or declaration of results. All applicants are requested to visit the institute website for any update on Counseling/Admission dates.


The session will start from 8th July, 2019


There will be an Induction programme of three weeks, starting on 8th July, 2019 at 11am. The students will be apprised of academic rules and regulations, code of conduct and many other aspects of teaching-learning process and life on campus.


Regular classes will start from 29th July, 2019.


Following articles will be provided in the hostels;


a. Bed, Mattress


b. Table, Chair and Cupboard


c. Bucket and Mug


Students have to bring bed sheets and other things required by them.


Students should also bring the pending documents (documents which they could not produce at the time of admission) and their attested photocopies.


Students can arrive at Pune on 8th July, 2019. They can stay in the hostel on that day after getting the hostel allotment. There is no facility available for the stay of the parents on campus.


Hostel fee has to be paid for hostel allotment.


Transport from Symbiosis, SB road to SIT can be arranged for the students and parents on 8th July, 2019  based on their request.


Students have to purchase their books and stationery on their own. The institute will facilitate this by inviting some book sellers to the Institute.


At SIT students wear uniform on some specified dates. The uniform will be provided by the Institute.
