Annual ProTech 2020, National Project Exhibition was organized by Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Lavale, Pune on 26 February, 2020. Last year marked the launch of ProTech National Project Exhibition and the event was celebrated this year also with full gusto, thanks to all the participants from various colleges.
Students from different parts of the country such as Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Sangli, Nashik, Wardha, Gujarat and Karnataka took part in the event. More than 75 teams and 300+ students participated in this full day event.
This year ProTech was organized at a much bigger scale and was more exciting with new ideas and innovation. Through this event, SIT hopes to create a platform for the young and curious minds to innovate, ideate and share their plans, projects and propositions with their peers.
The campus was buzzing with enthusiastic students setting up their presentation in their respective venues. The college was decked up for the event with tech-based models which adorned the institute décor. Also, as part of this event, an industry exhibit was arranged at SIT entrance wherein companies such as PTC, Logicon Tech, Evac and many more displayed their products. Students witnessed various tasks done by Industry Robots presented by LogiconTech, where they could program and operate it. PTC Company demonstrated Augmented Reality, in addition to this Evac Company showcased varied Welding alloys used in the industries.
Dr. Ketan Kotecha, Dean of Faculty Engineering, Director SIT, Head SCAAI inaugurated the event. The event was graced by Faculty In-charge administration, all heads of the departments, industry personnel, faculty, staff, SIT students and students from various other colleges and institutes.
The day concluded with Valedictory ceremony and prize distribution, where all the winners relished in their winning glory. Thus, ProTech 2020 National Project Exhibition witnessed a wide array of innovative, tech and societal project ideas on display. The event catalyzed the growth of the intellectual capital of the students and nurtured the creative potential of the participants.
