Symbiosis Centre for Waste Resource Management (SCWRM)

The centre promotes inter- and multi-disciplinary approach for basic and need-based applied research. Its efforts are in bridging the gap between lab and society. SCWRM works in the areas of research and service with a focus on developing need-based applied research for

  1. waste management and sustainability
  2. application of knowledge for the benefit of society

Symbiosis Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (SCNN)

In order to promote basic and applied research in the fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) established a Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (SCNN) that could ultimately innovate and develop new-generation materials/devices for societal benefits.

Symbiosis Center for Medical Image Analysis (SCMIA)

Symbiosis center for Medical Image Analysis (SCMIA) focuses on computational image analysis using sophisticated mathematical and AI based models . Image analysis methodologies include volumetric analysis, diffusion MRI processing and analysis, structural and functional connectomics, statistical learning in imaging, radiomics, population based analysis and deep neural networks for image classification.

Symbiosis Centre for Applied Artificial Intelligence (SCAAI)

Symbiosis Centre for Applied AI ( SCAAI) is established in May 2019 and is affiliated to Symbiosis Centre for Research and Innovation (SCRI). The primary aim of this centre is to spearhead the advancement and novel developments in various application areas and promotion of the advanced research and education in the field of AI. Along with this SCAAI engages in interdisciplinary research to address pertinent issues that could involve a huge spectrum such as finance and banking to healthcare.
