Robotic and Automation program

Overview

The world is entering an era where intelligent machines and autonomous systems are reshaping the way we live, work, and connect. The B. Tech program in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) at SIT is designed to prepare the next generation of innovators, engineers, and leaders who will define this transformation. This program blends the power of robotics, automation, and cognitive intelligence to create systems that can sense, learn, adapt, and act with precision and autonomy.

In this age of Industry 4.0 and beyond, Artificial Intelligence is the driving force behind smart manufacturing, autonomous vehicles, advanced healthcare systems, and connected cities. With AI augmenting robotic capabilities, the boundaries between physical and digital worlds are blurring—enabling smarter collaboration between humans and machines. The program at SIT empowers students to explore this frontier through a hands-on, interdisciplinary approach that integrates computer science, electronics, mechanical systems, and machine learning.
