Eligibility
Indian Students
Minimum PCM % (45% for General and 40% for Reserved category candidates) is a mandatory eligibility requirement for admissions.
Online Admission Procedure

Paid Registration, Documents Uploading, and Branch Preference Selection
- The registration process includes:
- Selection of branch preferences
- Uploading documents
- Entrance exam scorecard – only for JEE (Main) / Any State Govt. Engg. Entrance Exam candidates
- Category certificate – only for SC/ST/DA/KM candidates
- Candidates have to click the submit button after uploading documents in the registration portal. Candidates failing to do so will not be included in the merit list (branch allocation).

Merit Listing (Branch Allocation)
- Branches will be allocated based on entrance examination scores, branch preferences, and availability of seats.
- Emails will be sent to merit-listed candidates with links to download the offer letter and pay the first installment of academic fees within 5 days of receiving the offer letter email.

Documents Verification
- Entrance scorecards will be verified only for JEE (Main) / Any State Govt. Engg. Entrance Exam fees paid candidates, to check the scores mentioned during registration.
- Category certificates will be verified for applicable candidates.
- If any discrepancy is found while verifying the documents, the concerned candidate’s application will be removed from the current merit list and considered in the next merit list. In such cases, a separate communication will be made to the candidates.

Waitlist / Branch Change (if required)
Branch change option is available to candidates after payment of the first installment of fees. Candidates who do not pay the first installment of fees within five days of receiving the offer letter will be automatically waitlisted in their higher preferred branches in the subsequent merit lists.

Hostel Allocation
After fee payment, interested candidates can register for hostel allotment.

Guidelines for Documents Uploading
- Upload one PDF file for each mandatory document (Entrance Exam Scorecard, SC/ST/DA/KM certificates, if applicable), having scans of both sides/all pages of the document.
- Ensure that the uploaded document PDFs contain clear and readable scanned pages of the required documents.
- Ensure that you save and click the submit button after uploading documents in the portal. Candidates failing to do so will not be included in the merit listing (branch allocation).

International Students (NRI / PIO/ Foreign Nationals)
- Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry /Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.
- Do not have to appear for entrance exam (SIT EEE/ JEE-Main/ Any State Government Engineering Entrance Examination) in India

IB / Cambridge Board (IGCSE) Students:
Following eligibility rules will be followed for according equivalence to 10+2 school level certificate of International Baccalaureate / Cambridge board student:
a] International Baccalaureate( IB) Board
- The candidate must have been awarded IB Diploma or the IB Diploma Course (i.e. IB Certificate) as a qualification for entry to the professional course at the institute and is required to have passed the subjects of Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry at Higher Level (HL), with a minimum score of 24 credits. Students awarded the IB Diploma should also have completed other mandatory requirements (like CAS, TOK and the EE) towards the award of IB Diploma.
- Good Scores in any one of the following entrance exams: SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SIT EEE) or JEE (Main) or Any State Government Engineering Entrance Examination.

b] GCE/IGCSE/GCSE Examinations:
A candidate intending to join professional course at the institute must have passed the examination of approved British Examination Bodies equivalent to Grade 12, with a minimum of 5 subjects including English. The candidate must have passed subjects of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry in Advanced Level (“A” Level) and English at a minimum of Ordinary Level (“O” Level)
- Good Scores in any one of the following entrance exams: SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SIT EEE) or JEE (Main) or Any State Government Engineering Entrance Examination Score.

- The conversions of IB and GCE/IGCSE/GCSE Examination grades to the scores that are used are as suggested on the AIU (Association of Indian Universities) web portal. Only candidates who have the requisite qualification from Boards of Higher Education accredited and recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Govt. of India, New Delhi are eligible to apply at Symbiosis institutes for admission.
Reservation within sanctioned intake
- Scheduled Caste : 15%
- Scheduled Tribe : 7.5%
- Differently able students : 3%
Policy of admission against vacant seats under reserved category
In case some seats remain vacant in reserved categories, these will be converted to General Category after seeking approval from Vice-Chancellor of Symbiosis International University.
Over and above sanctioned intake
- Kashmiri Migrants :2 Seats (1 seat for SITEEE, 1 seat for JEE(Main)/ Any State Govt. Engg. Entrance Exam round )
- International Students (NRI/Foreign/PIO) : 15%
